Something like real life
In University I was always taught, when engaging in an essay or project, to clearly lay out my purpose. I’ve been considering this for quite some time, especially when it comes to this blog and the work herein.
I’ve come to the following conclusion:
This is a blog that conveys something that was my reality. No other reality but my own. Because I cannot write from anyone’s perspective but mine. There were real people and/or characters involved in this. There were dreams, aspirations, feelings of happiness, anger and moments of retribution. Most of it was true. Some of it was not. Sometimes it is obvious. I do not think that the nature of how much of it, all according to my perspective, was 100% true and how much of it was only 90% true matters in the end.
Friends get new names. Exes of whatever variety get numbers. Pretty easy concept.
This is my project.
It is my life.
And I make of it what I will.
These were parts of my life.
No more.
